MOHAWK TRAIL REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL ANTICIPATED OPENINGS
Tutor (School Day)-Math – Provide small group instruction in foundational math skills and MCAS preparation for students in grades 9-12. Use assessments to determine needs of individual students and to measure pre- and post- instruction performance. Must be available during school hours (7:45-2:15 pm).
Qualifications: Must have broad content area knowledge and experience with tutoring. Teacher certification a plus. Strong ability to differentiate instruction to the varied needs of individual students. Experience working with special education students and utilizing a range of instructional strategies essential.
Proposed schedule and compensation: 4 hours per week of small group instruction during the school day; 1 hour per week of preparation time. Start date: Feb 1, 2013. End date: June 1, 2013. Participation in 2 hour training required. Hourly rate: $25/hour with students; $20/hour preparation.

Program Coordinator: Academic Support Grant – Coordinate schedule of instructors and students for tutoring within the school day and after school. Analyze assessment data and generate learning plans for
students served. Manage pre- and post- instruction data. Monitor grant implementation and report results to DESE.
Qualifications: Teaching experience highly encouraged. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience with MS Excel. High level of comfort with technology and data analysis.
Compensation: $500 stipend
